BEIJING - China's output of
motor vehicles maintained a year-on-year growth of more
than 20% in the first seven months of this year to
exceed 3 million units, according to statistics from the
China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
Output of cars went up 27% in the period.
The country's total output of motor vehicles
reached 3,030,500 units in the first seven months,
jumping 23.54% year on year, and sales were 2,897,900
units, up 20.57 %, with sales ratio standing at 95.62%.
Of this, output of trucks was 847,800 units, up
15.66%, and sales, 854,000 units, up 20.40%, with sales
ratio of 100.73%; output of bus was 733,700 units, up
20.85%, and sales, 708,400 units, up 10.10%, with sales
ratio of 96.55%; and output of cars was 1,448,900 units,
up 30.21%, and sales, 1,335,500 units, up 27.09%, with
sales ratio of 92.17%.
Output of heavy-duty
truck was 197,600 units from January to July, rising
13.75% year on year, and sales, 197,100 units, up
18.45%, presenting a sales ratio of 99.75%; Output of
medium duty truck was 98,700 units, up 18.14 %, and
sales, 97,900 units, up 21.19%, with sales ratio of
99.19%; output of light truck was 462,200 units, up
20.52%, and sales, 463,600 units, up 20.5%, with sales
ratio of 100.30%; and output of mini truck was 89,300
units, down 3.17%, and sales, 95,400 units, up 23.23%.
Output of large bus was 13,600 units, surging
50.01% year on year, and sales were 13,500 units, up
51.16%, with sales ratio of 99.26%; output of midsize
bus was 27,100 units, down 2.50%, and sales, 27,200
units, up 0.25%, with sales ratio of 100.37%; output of
light bus was 243,900 units, up 12.13%, and sales,
235,200 units, up 10.63%, with sales ratio of 96.43%;
and output of mini bus was 449,200 units, up 27.31%, and
sales, 432,500 units, up 9.57, with sales ratio of
96.28%.
