A full-scale replica of a prototype of the renowned Mitsubishi Zero and the only surviving aircraft of the Japanese fighter Hien will take center stage at an aerospace museum here when it reopens in 2018.
The World War II fighters and 37 other aircraft will be displayed in chronological order to showcase the history of Japan’s aviation technology at the remodeled Kakamigahara Aerospace Science Museum. The facility will also have an expanded collection from Japan’s space program. Read more
