A huge new complex has opened on the banks of the Yangtze River in Chongqing, which is set to become a major draw for tourists.
The 120,000 square meter Landmark Riverside Park development features multiple attractions, including the city’s first Madame Tussauds waxwork museum and a Sea Life aquarium. Both attractions are managed by UK-based Merlin Entertainments. It will also showcase traditional Chongqing culture in the ‘Maker Space’ area, plus a vast array of F&B and retail outlets.
The complex was developed by Hong Kong Land, which owns luxury retail property in several major Asian cities, as part of a joint venture with China Merchants Shekou Holdings. Read more
