The TV series, starred by Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo, is about a romance between a handsome Army ranger and a female doctor that has driven South Korea and the entire Asian continent into a frenzy since its first episode aired in February.
Some of the main episodes were filmed on the Greek island of Zakynthos, a famous resort island for Europeans but very unfamiliar with Korean tourists, who usually drop by Athens to see the Acropolis and Zeus’ Temple before flying to Turkey.
