As final results start pouring in of Indian state assembly elections, it is now clear that Mamata Banerjee and J Jayalalithaa will retain their chief ministerships in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu respectively.
Kerala has gone with Left this time as is the tradition, while Assam has chosen BJP after three terms of Tarun Gogoi.
