Anthony Bourdain had a very special dinner companion Monday night in Hanoi, Vietnam. The Parts Unknown host—and Real Housewives phobic—grabbed a casual meal with President Obama at Bún chả Hương Liên, a restaurant near the capital city’s old quarter. (Bún chả is a traditional dish from the area that includes grilled pork served in a broth or dipping sauce, with by rice noodles and fresh herbs.).
The sit-down will air on the chef’s CNN show in September when the culinary travel series returns for its eighth season.
Despite the laid-back setting, the scene outside was anything but chill.
