Donald Trump won Tuesday’s Republican presidential caucuses in Nevada, US networks projected, giving the billionaire businessman his third straight win in the race for the White House.
Trump supporters erupted in cheers at his campaign headquarters in Las Vegas as the first results began emerging.
Early results showed Trump leading the pack of candidates with about 42% of the vote.
US networks projected that Florida Senator Marco Rubio had come in second place with 25% of the vote and Texas Senator Ted Cruz in third with 21% of the vote.
The contest is the fourth for the Republican presidential candidates, with Trump so far winning in New Hampshire and South Carolina. He came second in Iowa. Read More
