Sydney terror plot: teen among five charged

A 20-year-old man from Raby and a 15-year-old male from Georges Hall were arrested at their homes early Thursday, and later charged with a conspiracy to conduct an act in preparation for a terrorist act.

Three more men – aged 21, 22 and 22 – were charged with the same offence later in the day.

One of the 22-year-old men was scheduled to appear before Sydney Central Local Court.

The other 22-year-old man and the 21-year-old man have been refused police bail and are scheduled to appear before Sydney Central Local Court on Dec.  16.
