If you could keep just one dress in your wardrobe, which one would it be? Would it be that floral printed skater dress or the aztec printed maxi or the structured formal dress or the one with sequins all over? For me it has got to be this one currently. The perfect knee length pencil silhouette, the perfectly dark but not black sequins giving you the hard-to-find balance of deep, dark and glam in one piece of clothing. The perfect length of sleeves (so you’re not forced to shave the pits just because you have to go out! Or that could just be me.) The reason why I like deep colored sequins way more that your usual blingy silver or gold ones is because there are moments where you catch the slivers of light on the dark ones – its a bit mysterious that way. With the gold ones its all right there in front of you – you know it WILL shine.
Being launched just at the beginning of the festive season, the Marquee Collection by Vero Moda has some lovely festive pieces that would be great for Diwali parties and can even be extended till Christmas or New Years, especially this dress. This dress is so good on its own, it is perfectly acceptable to not accessorize with it.
