Big brother Jeremy showed off a little family pride with a Naruto reference in his Facebook announcement.

“During his tryout with the team, he demonstrated exceptional poise, high basketball IQ, and a great shooting touch,” Chris Tsai, general manager of the Fubon Braves, told NBC News. “We think he has the potential to be a very good point guard in Taiwan, and he has the right attitude and work ethic to make that happen. Although he is just a rookie and there are still areas he needs to develop, we expect him to be a major contributor to our team next year.

Recently graduated from New York’s Hamilton College with a major in economics, the 23-year-old Lin’s career statistics at Hamilton include playing 72 games, starting 10 games, 320 points (4.4/gm), 156 rebounds, 150 assists, 18 blocked shots, 46 steals, and 31 three-pointers made. Lin also earned three varsity letters and was named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Second Team.
